They already know what he wants. Just offer it publicly then hash out the details behind closed doors. All this other nonsense is a waste of time. They want some type of public confirmation that Wilder will be at their event with the hope he gives it publicity, but that's not happening.

You couldn't get any dumber than this.
Wilder did 1 million views AJ last 3 fights put together didn't do that in the US.
AJ hasn't sold out. He has thousands of tickets available on StubHub and had to drop the price lije 70%. Wilder had a packed arena. He may have come just short of selling out. In addition to all that he has gone viral with the KO. AJ needs Wilders help to promote this snoozefest

If he wanted that, he could have easily attended the Wilder fight, congratulated him and ask him to sit down with him to talk.
Stating it publicly is more of a PR stunt rather than any good. For all of Wilder's crazy talk, he got this one right...if the fight is to happen, it will ultimately be negotiated behind closed doors. That is the only way you iron out differences. Making a public spectacle of things can only make things worse but get you attention...unless that is the only goal.

Those tickets sales must not be going as planned. They will not stop mentioning Wilder's name. Wilder's knockout of Breazeale is still getting more play than the upcoming fight.
