Thurman is fighting Pacquiao in July, and Spence and Porter are having a unification in the Fall. If Spence and Thurman don't fight each other until late 2020, then they both need to fight someone legit in the first half of 2020.

Which means one of them needs to fight Crawford. I actually think it would be a good idea for Thurman to fight Crawford before Spence. The winner of Thurman-Crawford would be an undefeated two belt champ when they face Spence, another undefeated two belt champ.

I'm not saying that Mikey and Danny never deserve a shot at a 147 title again, but I think they have to wait until the three undefeated Welterweight champs get a crack at each other. I think the Mikey/Danny winner should fight Ugas before another title shot.

However, fighting the Mikey/Danny winner does seem like something Thurman would do after the Pacquiao fight. So if Thurman doesn't step up, I think Spence should fight Crawford in the first half of 2020, before fighting Thurman in the second half of 2020.

I am sorry fellas but my man is copping out. He doesn't want that work ever from Spence. He keeps moving the goal post. At first he said he wouldn't be ready to fight Spence until 2019 back in 2017. Now it's 2019 and he's saying he won't be ready to fight Spence until late 2020.
