Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia will keep winning if they stay clear of Lomachenko.

I know the WBC started some sort of tournament and I honestly hope Haney doesn't enter. He has a very bright future but he's a prospect and just not ready for Lomachenko.

Again - the main pull of DAZN is they charge significantly less for their PPV quality fights. This card is the equivalent of a basic cable card but if you bought DAZN for the year this card probably costs like $1.

Why people are so against a service like DAZN which is significantly lowering the PPV costs, I mean I don't get it lol.

From what I saw I was fairly impressed. All I know that guy went 12 with Pedraza otherwise I know nothing about him or Haney really.

Until he steps up in competition it will be hard to say what he really has. But he seems like a genuinely good kid so it will be easy enough for me to root for him...

Moran also knocked out Zuniga @ 140 in his last bout. Truth is this was an incremental step up and test for Haney. IMO, it does indicate he's ready for any top 15 contender in the LW division. It looks like he's going the WBC Abdullaev route, but damn how can you not say he's ready to face the top contenders in the division ? He's already ranked #4, #4, #9, and #6. One more win and could be a title shot (unless Loma is undisputed by then).
Sure he needs another step up in competition to be considered for a shot, but I think it a bit dismissive to believe Moran was meaningless and concluded nothing. He had a close UD loss to Pedraza. It was a progressive step, imo.

But no, at least 1 or 2 fights before considering Loma. There's Abdullaev, Fortuna, Campbell, Selby, Crolla, T. Lopez, , Nakatani, Easter, Barthelemy, Pedraza...all a next potential test before Loma. He's on the cusp. To be fair, there's very few qualified to challenge Loma, right ? Somebody with a real resume...

The fight was not a test.

A test is to fight a threat. This opponent was no threat.

Tank would be a threat.
Loma would be a threat.

Quite a few others would be threats.

"incrementally" - the guy's been incremental long enough. He needs to be tested by a true threat. Someone will equal skill and/or power.
