What happened to Nicholas "Axe Man" Walters?

So you're implying that since the long layoff Walters had didn't affect him against Garza ( a fringe contender who's lost All his step up fights and himself was coming off a year + long layoff ) .
It shouldn't have affected him against Lomachenko ( a fighter who Some on here consider P4P # 1) ?Comment

No it can effect him to some extent but not to a point where he looks like a complete amateur. Your opponent does that. A lay off doesn't make your skills disappear. That was an example to show Walters had been on similar lay offs and that it was probably his own fault he was out of the ring for that time.Comment

You keep saying that it was Walters' own fault for being laid off. Do you have any evidence for that?
As I remember it Arum put him on ice because he asked to be paid more money for the Lomachenko fight. Maybe that's what soured him on the sport.Comment

As far as his return he actually had a scheduled fight a couple months ago but called it off due to fever.
Ever since than idk what happened to him. Such a promising fighter also.Comment

Let's not act like keeping someone on the shelf before feeding him to a prospect you're heavily invested in isn't something promoters do .Comment

Lomachenko was a prospect??? And Walters ****ed himself. Arum gave him a very generous offer to fight Lomachenko and he turned it down. Rigondeaux did the same thing. Of course both of them came back once they realized that they weren't going to make more money elsewhere.Comment
