Are you kidding me? Walters didn't win one minute of any round against Lomachenko. And he had problems making weight at 126 you moron, the fight was at 130.

No it can effect him to some extent but not to a point where he looks like a complete amateur. Your opponent does that. A lay off doesn't make your skills disappear. That was an example to show Walters had been on similar lay offs and that it was probably his own fault he was out of the ring for that time.

Exactly. Acting as if Walters would have had any chance against Lomachenko even if he had been more active is laughable considering how one sided the fight was.

You keep saying that it was Walters' own fault for being laid off. Do you have any evidence for that?

As I remember it Arum put him on ice because he asked to be paid more money for the Lomachenko fight. Maybe that's what soured him on the sport.

Loma fought multiple times with injures and returned early in the Pedraza fight. 11 months isn't a lot for some fighters especially if they are special fighters.

As far as his return he actually had a scheduled fight a couple months ago but called it off due to fever.

Ever since than idk what happened to him. Such a promising fighter also.

I'm not saying Walters would've won . But the cards got stacked against him to ensure he wouldn't even stand a chance .
Let's not act like keeping someone on the shelf before feeding him to a prospect you're heavily invested in isn't something promoters do .

Probably embarrassed to fight again. That was one of the worst quit jobs ever.

Lomachenko was a prospect??? And Walters ****ed himself. Arum gave him a very generous offer to fight Lomachenko and he turned it down. Rigondeaux did the same thing. Of course both of them came back once they realized that they weren't going to make more money elsewhere.
