Perhaps, not this fight but it's inevitable, like all fighters the fight would be beaten out of them and Manny Pacquiao is no exception. Over a period of time an athlete's body is going to age; Especially a boxer's. Time will reveal that not even Manny Pacquiao can remain forever young. It's just like that Peter Gabriel's lyric from his 1986 song "Don't Give Up"

"In this proud land we grew up strong
    We were wanted all along
I was taught to fight, taught to win
I never thought I could fail
No fight left or so it seems
I am a man whose dreams have all deserted
I've changed my name, I've changed my face
But no one wants you when you lose"

Well put...alot of potential but we really don't know how good any of these top guys are except really Keith as he fought at least a couple top WW and he struggled. Spence and Crawford however have yet to face a top WW so it's hard to guage at this point until they all fight each other or lose to Pacman 😁

Floyd had carefully pick his opponent until he retired. I think everyone can be undefeated if they carefully their opponent.

I love Pacquiao and have been his biggest fan and still is but don’t let your stir crazy love and over fanboyism cloud your judgement.
Leonard would have broken Pacquiao down and stopped him.
Leonard is To big , to strong and just on another level silly boy

                This.

I never saw why people rated Thurman so high. The gap between him and Crawford & Spence is huge.

Dude, Sugar Ray Leonard was wayyy to big and powerful and fast for Pac.

Plus, Tommy Hearns couldn't stop him and he's arguably the biggest killer ever at 147.

Manny Pacquiao's only stopped one guy in the past decade that he's been at welter.

Manny's only elite in this era because the welter division is top heavy.

I don't even think he beats Shawn Porter at this point, if Joe Horn could give him trouble.

I think Duran roughs Manny up and breaks him down physically.

Manny's not a big guy. He started off at 108lbs.

So while he's an all-time great P4P, he's not beating any all-time greats above maybe 135lbs.

Floyd fought everybody he was supposed to fight in the first half of his career up until his 30s.

Also, people don't give him enough credit for being a P4P #1 guy at age 36, 37, 38 years old.

They criticize him for fighting guys out of their prime while ignoring he was out of his too.

Floyd was at his absolute best around 24/25 at 130.

He fought Canelo, a bigger, stronger, and younger guy who had 40 fights when he was 36. That deserves credit.

I like SRL and I'm a fan of him but they are in a different era and no one can never know who will win between the two. Everyone has his own opinion and if you think he can beat pac then i respect that but for me I'm 100% sure he can beat SRL. We can only speculate on who will win between them. Anyway both of them are the FIGHTER OF DECADE and the best of their era.

Hunger has waned a bit but still present

Pacquiao is now in the twighlight of an illustrious career and his priorities might be spread out in a million direction but the one thing we cannot deny is the skill level he still retains and can still compete with the best out there. Yeah he's slowing down and not the beast we've grown accustomed to but in terms of flat out prowess and experience, pacquiao takes the cake. This is still a risky fight though and my hats off to pacquiao for taking taking it. I have pacquiao winning by tko in the later rounds. Thurman has never fought anyone with the kinda angles and volume punching like pacquaio.

Huge fan of manny and always will be, i’ll never root for him to lose, not ever. but we have to accept the truth, those angles, nowadays are few and far between... and volume punching? Are you serious? He barely throws 400 punches a fight now. He doesn’t have the stamina for it anymore. To jump around and sht.

The best hope for Pacman in this fight is to hope thurman is past it as well, and/or still rusty from his long layoff. And I think that’s the key reason they took this fight. 30 is the age where most fighters are at their peak.

I want pacquiao to have a good ride to the sunset but if he keeps fighting the inevitable happens. His desire to be back to where he used to be is still burning inside and that’s just not possible to attain at 40. Especially with his style of fighting.

What we have now is just pure nostalgia hoping he performs great again..... you have to defy time and age for that. Terribly dangerous fight for pac at this age and if he catches those shots that danny garcia took? It’s gonna end early.... but of course i always hope for him to win.
