lol that "40 year old coming off a loss" is one of the greatest HW champions of all time. Joshua wasn't fighting some journeyman.

    • Shirley Winkle is lying anyway. He aint trying to make any fights with Joshua. Its just Wilder is getting a lot of stick for what people see as a DUCK of Anthony Joshua and theres pressure on him, people are on their necks over turning down Anthony Joshua so all Winkle does is talk about it "BEING IN THE WORKS" which actually means "PLEASE GET OFF OUR NECKS".

Still nothing stopping AJ Wilder being next. Just waiting on Team Wilder, again.

But was pretty much considered the best heavyweight without a belt when he fought Wilder. And several folks had Ortiz rated ahead of Wilder.
I had Ortiz rated above Wilder and all other contenders solely based on the Jennings fight.... until I heard about his BLOOD PRESSURE PROBLEMS. I wonder who else knew about it before it became public news.
Mind you, the division was thin between 2014 and 2017 and still is.

Then Wlad turns around and gets thoroughly outboxed by Fury. Then comes back a year and a half later and AJ goes life and death with him. And folks act like AJ’s performance was the greatest thing we’ve ever seen. Wilder beats Ortiz and all of a sudden Ortiz is terrible. Like come on man. I don’t understand how anybody that actually follows the sport can rationally look at that timeline of events and walk away with those conclusions.
What is it they say... styles make fights?

One fighter isn't better than another simply because they put in a better performance than somebody else against a common opponent and that's essentially all your argument is there. There are numerous examples that show that not to be the case.

As I said in my previous post; " Objectivity goes out the window on both sides of the fence." It's pretty clear you're just on the other side of the fence to those you're complaining about.

          • Shows you the mentality of how team Wilder has been running things. AJ didn't go to our fight to sell it for us so we won't let him go there. AJ has a fight soon ,Wilder already had his ,why would AJ shift everyone's focus on Wilder when he has his own Ruiz fight that Wilder can actually benefit from ? These guys know if they let Wilder go to the Joshua fight they will have added pressure to make it and that's a no no.

            • At the end of the day Finkel would come up with something and everyone will blame Hearn. "IHF" (Its Hearn Fault) would soon replace IMF

Agree. Finkel said two weeks for an announcement.

Whyte may have to fight Fury after Rivas, but if not, I'd like to see that too.
