I guess the big loser in all this so far is Margarito.

Poor guy was scheduled to be co-main event for August 12 Vegas card, but no opponent can be set.

He is in the worst stage a fighter can be in - good but not yet great, famous but only to boxing hardcores, not small enough for little money but not big enough for real big money.

    ****ty situation for the guy.

Arum acknowledged the offer but denied it.

Personally...being under Arum is what hurts him the most. If he was with Golden Boy alot of this would be much easier since people in that stable can actually secure fights with contenders, or have fights within the promotion.

Arum is having a hard time getting the Quintanna fight. I know he was off the August card, but October is already booked, but i have no idea who hes going to fight.

well, Arum has done ok thus far in putting competitive fights together, but i hear what ur saying.

Golden Boy is really gathering all the greats and Oscar could easily have a little monopoly for himself in the promo business if he keeps growing the way he has been.

Im haveing less and less respect for Golden Boy Pro. first the gatorade incident and now these tactics with Arum. It just goes to show that Golden Boy is not about the fighter but about themselves.

Umm...the gatorade incident was potentially detrimental to THEIR FIGHTER, shane mosley. These tactics with arums benefit THEIR FIGHTER Winky Wright. So how are they not about the fighter? What kind of logic is that? Of course they are about themselves, its a promotional company , they promote fighters. What else are they supposed to be doing? This isnt a non profit organization

                  What tactics??
                  Arum doesnt want the fight.
Moments ago Arum told ********** that he was aware of the offer but he has zero interest in entertaining the offer or discussing a Wright-Margarito fight& for that matter.

If true besides the reasons i already gave, it must be a fact now that Arum nor Delahoya will ever deal with each other, it was rumored for a long time, the beef between Delahoya and Arum so now we know its true.

Great way for Winky to get out of a Margrito fight, congratulations.

Did you hear the undercard fighters were allowed to use gatorade, one fight fighter had such a great advantage people say he performed like the great Muhhammed Ali.

They are about themselves, awhile back they let go Jose Navarro, why? He hadn't lost at the time.
