    Boxing is dead

    Man
    Boxing is straight up dead.

I use to watch 10 fights a year back in 2001. Now I watch 10 fights a decade. Haven't even watched 10 fights since 2010.... what's the point?

    Best dont fight the best
    Heavyweights died
    And absolutely lack of excitement
Haven't had a slugfest since Bowe holyfjeld!

    Dude, you're crazy.

Boxing's the best it's been in 20 years, thanks to fights being on regular TV like ESPN, Fox, & Fox Sports.

You got guys like Lomachenko, Crawford, Errol Spence, Inoue, Canelo, GGG, and Deontay Wilder damn near killing people in the ring.

Yeah, boxing's had better days, but it's better than it was 10 years ago, because the internet's made it more accessible

Did we really get all the fights in the 90s?

Holyfield and Tyson didn't fight until their 30s.

        Bowe and Lewis never fought.

Lewis and Tyson fought when Tyson was a busted flush.

For the main 4 fighters we just got one trilogy at their peaks.

I look back fondly on the 90s, but I'm not sure if it's not just rose tinted specs.

          I blame the boxing fans.
The support fighters that duck, they support fighters that use PEDS, they support corrupt scorecards, they support fighters that cheat, they support cherry picking and they ignore a lot of the best fights because they are only fanboys of certain fighters.

I had one guy basically tell me he doesn't want to see Crawford vs Spence this year.

These so called fans preferred to watch Mayweather fight a guy who has zero boxing fights and Youtubers have a fight rather than watch some of the top boxing match ups.

That is why boxing is dying

It is certainly in decline in America with the broadcasters suffering, but I think in the rest of the world it is growing.

You haven't watched 10 fights since 2010? That is your fault, not boxing's fault.

Lol, there's been plenty of great fights from 2010-Present.

            Fights in 2010 alone:

            Bute-Miranda
            Pavlik-Martinez
            Kessler-Froch I
            Mayweather-Mosley
            JMM-Diaz II
            Pacquiao-Margarito (if you hate cheaters)
            Martinez-Williams II
            Segura-Calderon I
            JMM-Katsidis
            Khan-Maidana
            Hopkins-Pascal I

20 other random good fights/KO's throughout the decade:
            Donaire-Montiel
            Ortiz-Berto
            Kirkland-Angulo
            Hopkins-Pascal II
            Mayweather-Cotto
            Cotto-Martinez
            JMM-Pacquiao III
            Froch-Groves I
            Mayweather-Maidana I
            Canelo-Cotto
            JMM-Pacquiao IV
            Garcia-Matthysse
            Maidana-Broner
            Joshua-Klitschko
            Wilder-Ortiz
            Garcia-Khan
            Thurman-Porter
            Salido-Vargas
            Frampton-Cruz
            Rungvisai-Gonzalez I and II

            I lied, I came up with 21.

The list can go on and on, probably 100 easily. I didn't even mention any cruiser fights. There's also much more fights in the lower weights that I did not mention.

yes i agree boxing is awful now. the best dont fight the best is the worst problem. max kelerman needs to go away. the way they robbed kovalev 2 times was a bad look for the sport and it turned away the casuals.
