Povetkin vs Ortiz: who’s the better boxer?

They’re about the same age (Povetkin is a tad younger) but who has the better resume, is better skill wise and more dangerous?

As a boxing fan, if Wilder vs AJ can’t happen next. I’d prefer Deontay Wilder vs Povetkin and AJ vs Ortiz. I don’t want to see DW vs Ortiz II. In-house fights aren’t always clean.

Ortiz has 1 half decent win and got knocked out when he stepped up.

A lot of that has more to do with someone's management than someone's skillset.

I rate Ortiz and Povetkin roughly the same. Slight edge to Ortiz.

Povetkin smoked ortiz in the amateurs. Really bad from what i heard too. Povetkin been a world champ and knocked out some good fighters too. Povetkin for me

Pretty much. To me they are pretty much one of the same though.. past their peak fighters with extensive amateur backgrounds and known drug cheats.

Anybody here that wants to talk up one and discredit the other should just be put on block.
