Fighters are a joke in this day and age, only fight one or two times a year, it's ridiculous. A champion should be fighting and defending his belt 4 times a year, 3 at the very minimum. These guys are too pampered with the money they earn, they get lazy and over protected.

Translation: “No, I will not be fighting Spence later this year.”

How a 40 year old part time boxer and full time Senator is more active than a full time boxer is beyond me.

That’s why fighters like fighters like Pacquiao are special. He’s an all time because of his activity against elite level opposition.

it'll be better for the sport if Pacquiao wins. i still like Keith though the man wants to enjoy his biggest purse ever. but im pulling for Manny cuz im sure he'll go straight to the Porter/Spence winner with no drama.

I could stay busy, you know? It depends on how I feel, but I’m not projecting a third fight this year. No, sir.”

What you mean you gotta relax??!!! You been relaxing for the previous two years lol

If Thurman beats Pacqaio, then his Mandatory will be Alexander Bes*****, so if Thurman decides to not fight again in 2019 this is great news for Bes***** who is still green as lettuce only having 12 fights (12-0) it will give him more time to get ready for the much more experienced Thurman, Bes***** though VERY INEXPERIENCED shows a lot of promise and with more time could give Thurman a good fight and possibly beat him.

Manny Pacquiao on Thurman’s retirement threats: ‘I’ve been in this sport more than two decades, no one can intimidate me’

He said that if he wins, he will target the other titleholders at 147, and said it’s “possible” that he could even fight WBO titleholder Terence Crawford, a Top Rank fighter who is currently frozen out by PBC having the rest of the division’s top names...

Pacquiao added that Freddie Roach will be involved in his camp for the Thurman bout, and that he expects to fight again at the end of 2019, which would make for three fights in the year. If that happens, it would be the first time since 2008 — when Manny beat Juan Manuel Marquez, David Diaz, and Oscar De La Hoya — that Pacquiao fought three times in a single calendar year.
