Nery might have an opening if Takuma beats Oubaali for the belt, as Takuma not likely to fight Naoya (being brothers), at which point Nery is the mandatory. But can see problems if Takuma insists on fighting his mandatory at home where Nery banned, in which case Yakuma likely be able to step over Nery to the next challenger ? Interesting situation for the WBC if it happens.
    Thats a clear duck

    Oubaali is ducking Nery

He knows that with Nery is his last fight as a champion

    What a shame

They offered a fight with Nery in PAC Man fight

This sh.it from France wants two fights more before Nery

And the brother of Naoya is straight sh.it

Oubaali is fighting in Kazakhstan. This fight isn't happening anytime soon.

        Man, stop using drugs

Nery is clean, stop with the excuses he was clean against Yamanaka II and Arroyo

        And he will kill Inoue

Man idk if your new to boxing or if your just now discovering nery but him vs inoue is true 50/50 fight & nery would definitely take that fight. Both of these dudes absolutely run through their opposition & both have legitimate arguments for being number 1 aswell. Inoue is special but so is nery. That was a very casual statement

yeah he was clean against Yamanaka II, but also came in 4lbs overweight. Why aren't you mentioning that?

Nery is no joke, he will kill Monster

I like all the fu.cking hype about Inoue

Will be like Sánchez vs Gómez or Canelo vs GGG II
True it be like GGG v Canelo where Nery can’t win without judges

I doubt Nery lasts 6 rounds though, never mind 12

Seems to me Japan is not only afraid of Pantera but they hold a major grudge since he beat up their boy. Twice, and on their own turf. All that's going to do is piss Nery off. I think Nery can beat any bantamweight out there except maybe Inoue. However I wouldnt bet against him and especially with a chip on his shoulder. Japan better pucker up because all they'ree doing is giving him an edge. Appreciate his talent don't dog him. This kid is for real!!

Born into a boxing family, my friend.

Nery hasn’t got the defence to last v Inoue

Didn't (Naoya) Inoue say he had a deal laid out with Top Rank once the WBSS ends ? In which case, Nery joining PBC puts a hurdle in place for any Naoya vs Nery fight in the future.

Oubaali sounds pretty genuine in his desire for unification with Naoya, and can imagine Naoya being pretty keen about it too. Only fly in the ointment being if Takuma wins the belt in the meantime and the complications that might have with any subsequent mandatory with Nery.

IF Oubaali beats Takuma, then ideally Oubaali's next three fights are TBA/Takuma/Naoya, and Naoya's next three are Donaire/Tete/Oubaali, leading to a unified champ.

Nery tested positive in the first fight, then comes in 3lbs overweight in the second (which for a 118lb fight, is pretty significant, only 1lb shy of the next weight class). Basically cheated twice, once by using, second time on the scales.

Japan banned Ogawa for 1 year for a positive drug test, so it does seem a bit of a stretch to ban Nery for life because of missing weight on top of a negative drug test.
