This post here cites the glaring difference between posters who actually know the sport and have a long history of patronage in comparison to the bandwagon “fans” who have discovered boxing because of Eddie Hearn and Anthony Joshua. And right you are about the degenerates who seem to live for personal attacks and muck throwing on websites. I get that most of them are probably kids on their late teens and 20s and lack maturity but so many seem to also be lacking their prescribed medications as well....

Who’s who of boxing are you fuc&ing kidding me Thomas was in the midst of losing 4out of 5 fights when bowe fought him .Tony Tubgut and Burt Cooper??????

Thomas’ losses in that 4 out of 5 stretch...3 of the 4 are hall of fame world heavyweight champions.

Prior to fighting Bowe Tony Tubbs was a world champion whose only losses were to two time champ Tom Witherspoon and Mike Tyson.

Bert Cooper (RIP) was Bert Cooper. No one could question the mans heart and a KO animal. Everyone knew his style he was there to knock you out or he was getting knocked out.

Bowe didn`t fight Lewis, Tyson, Foreman. Tyson didn`t fight Foreman. Bowe didn`t fight Lewis..Ok, Tyson was in jail, he has an excuse.

Foreman, fat, half dead, was world champ with nearly 50 years of age..

He ducked his ass Lewis stopped him in the olympics and prior to dumping the belt Lewis had just finished off Razor Rudduck brutally in two rounds.Just like the agreement Bowe had to not fight Tyson because they both came from the same neighborhood but did not know each other .So basically he was champ and excluded himself from fighting the two biggest names in his division.

It wasn’t that they knew each other. Both he and Mike explain it with Mike explaining it better. In a Larry King interview while in prison Mike also said he didn’t want to fight Bowe because they were friends. Tyson would call and write to Bowe from prison giving him tips and they discovered they went to the same school this established a bond and something in common.

It’s also not uncommon for fights to not happen when there are two-three in a division that never face one another. “George Foreman vs Earnie Shavers, Ken Norton vs Joe Frazier, Sugar Ray Leonard vs Aaron Pryor and Floyd Mayweather vs Paul Williams”

None of these fights happened. I don’t call these “ducks”. They just never materialized for whatever reason.
