its all on chicken Bowe. IMO.

It would have been the 2 super heavies of the time as both of them have size advantage over Holy, Tyson, Tua, etc... other contenders of the time like P. Thomas, B.Smith, Tucker was just tall, Big George old, McCall, Rahman are small compared to them. The Klits were just coming up.

What a waste of talent bowe was. He could have been an all time great and I have no doubt he would have knocked out the Pepe Correa era Lewis.

Maybe someone should tell this PBC shill he's taking his "job" too seriously.
If he continues like that, he won't be rejected just by AJ (2 times) but also by master Al.

Big George was old but not too old. Lennox first held the WBC between 92-94 and defended it 3 times. In 94 Big George won the WBA, IBF and Lineal titles.

George went on to defend these titles from 94 - 97 defending the 3 times. Using your argument Lennox had the opportunity to fight Big George at anytime when George came back and certainly during 92-94 when he held the titles and at anytime during 94-97 when George held his. Using that logic (using your term not mine) we can call him Chicken Lennox for not fighting a dangerous George during those spans.

I personally wouldn’t call Lennox or Bowe a chicken but your logic is flawed.

You are correct; it has ruined it. Its even ruined intelligent discussion on boxing forums and why there is this war of words between AJ and Wilder between fans that devolves to personal attacks and insults. Simply put its created garbage fans.

While I lean towards Wilder it doesn’t bother me if AJ were to win or vice versa. Both in my eyes are still excellent HWs with differing skills. While a loss might sadden a fan from either side it doesn’t diminish the boxer’s value in the least. Each will continue their careers, might face one another again and win or lose again.

That’s HW boxing where in any given night any HW can KO any other HW, period, point blank, end of story. Wilder could have gotten KOd by Breazeale. AJ might get KOd by Ruiz. That’s the fighting business.

Any all time PFP list in existence today places SRR at the top. He lost 19 fights. I’d place Henry Armstrong at # 2 with 21 losses. Most unintelligent boxing commenters would melt down with those first two selections because they have losses. And today to have a loss is unspeakable. If you have a loss (unless its come from a champion) that boxer is a garbage can, a tomato can, not worthy being called a boxer. The internet has in fact in many ways ruined boxing and their fan base.

Very rarely will you see anywhere in the top 10 PFP an undefeated fighter. Maybe top 15 you’ll find your first undefeated PFP in Rocky Marciano.

Thats true, he made more money than most ever will in a life time, if he spent it all on dumb chit that is his fault. You have less famous fighters like Jeff Lacy and Winky Wright who didnt blow all their money so they are still comfortable to this day and dont have to work ****** jobs because they invested it.

Good points and I hope George Groves did the same thing. He was a likable boxer that tried his hardest to capture a title and finally did only to lose it then retire.

This post here cites the glaring difference between posters who actually know the sport and have a long history of patronage in comparison to the bandwagon “fans” who have discovered boxing because of Eddie Hearn and Anthony Joshua. And right you are about the degenerates who seem to live for personal attacks and muck throwing on websites. I get that most of them are probably kids on their late teens and 20s and lack maturity but so many seem to also be lacking their prescribed medications as well....
