You dudes are just mad that Floyd went undefeated fighting champion after champion & HOF'er after HOF'er. If T.B.E. was to fight & beat Walker Smith Jr. 10 times ya'll would STILL say he's better than Floyd, "Till this day." LOL....Floyd is The Best Ever.Comment

Agreed. Floyd aiiight, but Lights Out was The Man. Perfect blend of offense/defense along with one of the greatest chins ever.Comment

What are you going on about? My comment wasn’t even putting Floyd down. I think you may need a break if you see a fire in every corner. Since we are on Floyd, yes he was an elite great boxer. However he doesn’t make it in my top 25 all time PFP list. In fact he doesn’t make most lists in the top 25. Some even have him just inside or outside of the top 50. That isn’t hating him that’s just plainly stating facts.

You are correct; it has ruined it. Its even ruined intelligent discussion on boxing forums and why there is this war of words between AJ and Wilder between fans that devolves to personal attacks and insults. Simply put its created garbage fans.
While I lean towards Wilder it doesn’t bother me if AJ were to win or vice versa. Both in my eyes are still excellent HWs with differing skills. While a loss might sadden a fan from either side it doesn’t diminish the boxer’s value in the least. Each will continue their careers, might face one another again and win or lose again.
That’s HW boxing where in any given night any HW can KO any other HW, period, point blank, end of story. Wilder could have gotten KOd by Breazeale. AJ might get KOd by Ruiz. That’s the fighting business.
Any all time PFP list in existence today places SRR at the top. He lost 19 fights. I’d place Henry Armstrong at # 2 with 21 losses. Most unintelligent boxing commenters would melt down with those first two selections because they have losses. And today to have a loss is unspeakable. If you have a loss (unless its come from a champion) that boxer is a garbage can, a tomato can, not worthy being called a boxer. The internet has in fact in many ways ruined boxing and their fan base.
Very rarely will you see anywhere in the top 10 PFP an undefeated fighter. Maybe top 15 you’ll find your first undefeated PFP in Rocky Marciano.Comment

That's the problem, they are NOT "facts." just bias/hating opinions. What I wrote below are FACTS.

173 wins 108 KOs
Welterweight champ and 5x MW champ
Henry Armstrong
150 wins 101 KOs
Held 3 belts at once when there were only 8 divisions
Willie Pep
229 wins 65 KOs
Won his first 62 bouts
Ali/Joe Louis/Duran
Do I need to go on? I can list at least 25-30 more before we get anywhere close to Mayweather. These are indisputable facts. Just because you place bold on everything you write doesn’t make your argument any more valid or stronger. I said Mayweather was a great boxer. But no, he isn’t anywhere close to being the greatest ever. Sorry if this hurts your feelings. Facts don’t care about feelings.Comment
