I remember seeing Buddy at a Amateur tournament a while back .
We were walking by each other and in passing I said " hey Buddy . What's up " .
His reply was " hey Black man "
        I'm not Black though ?

The Philly Shell is NOT "Mayweather's style" it was around since the late 1800's.

Willie Peep, B-Hop and James Toney were all masters of the Philly Shell.

everybody tries to be like Floyd because nobody likes to get hit!! so why not imitate the mofo that got hit the least. its kinda like everybody in the NBA is now tryna be like Steph Curry. everybody is tryna develop long range accuracy because they see the damage Curry causes with the 3 ball. he changed basketball. Floyd changed boxing.

none of those fighters mastered it like Floyd. therefore Floyd is the philly shell master.

He's 101 percent right, AB is a prime example... I always said this right if you really want to be taught that style go to Sr.. Devin Haney style is the closes to it in boxing and Sr trained him & also Andrew Tabiti uses that style even down to the pull counter.
