Nobody gives smaller fighters any credit. Plus we are on a boxing focus website. On a regular website they don't even mention anything below 130lb. I used to watch the smaller divisions back in the day every once in a while you get a war. However it would be 3 very good guys and the rest bums on the professional level. It's hard to find a grown man walking around at 130lbs and below and even harder to promote.

Inoue has never had his whiskers tested by a guy like donaire. I favor Inoue strongly but donaire always has a punchers chance. He’s a bit long in the tooth, especially considering he’s in his mid 30s in a lower weight division, but his timing could offset the speed advantage Naoya has over him. Naoya still has a leaky defense, but it could be that he doesn’t respect his past opponents power and is willing to take one to give two, we just don’t know if he can weather a donaire left hook.Comment

Don't get me wrong I think Inoues a monster but I've always believed in reserving true judgement of a fighter until he faces someone on paper who at least is considered a real test. So far inoues only kod opponents hes like a 50/1 favorite over (in Rodriguez case he was like a 33/1 favorite),your right that nobody gives lower division fighters much credit, but at the same time theres a reason-these lower divisions only usually have great fighters passing through as a stepping stone to bigger more lucrative divisions.Nobody gives smaller fighters any credit. I think Inoues only test at 118 is nery who most ppl hate anyways & Donaire is still dangerous but nowhere near his best anymore. Your right theres like exactly 3 good fighters & the rest pro journeyman, its a shame because when there is 2 evenly matched tiny guys fighting its the most entertaining matches in all of Boxing where these guys throw more than 1000 punches sometimes.Comment

It's not all that difficult Inoue will train with Donaires big left hook in mind, fight a tad more caughtously, then knock him out in three.Don't get me wrong I think Inoues a monster but I've always believed in reserving true judgement of a fighter until he faces someone on paper who at least is considered a real test. Plus he'll be hammered to the body, all while knowing full well this is his last fight.Comment

I agree. Inoue is levels above donaire & donaire looks like hes on his last leg as an elite fighter. I have massive respect for Donaire too,he was the 1st fighter to start doing yr rd VADA & is among the very few to this day that still is. The VADA CBP is nowhere near as thorough as vada 365 that Donaires been doing for many yrs. Its a shame that he'll be retired when inoue gutblasts him out in 6Comment
