Look at Calum Smith is his WBSS win really better than BJS picking up a vacant belt against a bum

Usyk stock went up because he was undisputed and moving up to the glamour division

Some stability & quality control in the matchups would be great.

I just don't see how its coming without massive overhaul in the boxing business. Right now I think DAZN & PBC joining forces, which obviously isn't happening anytime soon if ever, would have more impact than anything else on bringing up the quality of the boxing product overall. The WBSS doesn't have much pull, specifically in the US where they need to have more pull to get off the ground more.

        Amazing Concept! INCREDIBLE Presentation!

All for Complete SH#T FANS who gives no F#CKS ABOUT IT which is why it struggled badly this season Financially. I feel for Sauerland actually, they're trying everything to make this work but

Agree though, Ali Trophy means you fought the best (Some Of The Best since not everybody joined the Tournament Tournament like Jose Ramirez at 140 and Zeloni Tete a 118) fighters in your Division to win it. So yeah it should be considers a bigger deal!

Yeah they are putting the effort in.

The fans need to get on board though, but the TV Networks need to play a role to, and how they get the message out there and promoted needs to improve as well.

I hope this grows and fighters want to take part, and it becomes a regularly fixture.

Might take years but boxing would be better for it if this format makes it.

It's only going to work in divisions where the best fighters are still not big earners, like the Cruiserweight and Light-Welterweight.

Super Bantamweight would've been great too but Burnett and Tete both got injured, but can't fault the initial lineup they had for it.

Sadly it's never going to work in a lot of other divisions in terms of getting the best fighters involved, although i think 175 would be incredible. Bivol, Kovalev, Beterbiev and more. None of them do big numbers, so it could be possible.
