Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder: Why Not Have Two, Three Fights With Luis Ortiz?

Just wait till next year when AJ has to start fulfilling mandatory's in order to retain his belt. - People will claim he's ducking.
I get why Wilder would rematch Ortiz but if he knocks him out conclusively in a rematch there is no need for a third fight to take place.

You should have at least tell us how wilder ran away from 100mil offer. Tell us how Ortiz ran away from a pay day he can never get anywhere else. Tell us wilder doesn't want whyte anywhere close. You have many other things to tell us.

The only reason for the ref to speak to Wilder at the start of the round after he was out on his feet would have been to give him more recovery time. I'm guessing he was asking Wilder if he was OK to continue, but he wasn't exactly going to say no was he? There was nothing stopping the ref checking on Wilder during the official corner time instead of afterwards, I've seen it happen plenty of times before.

It is disgusting what Haymon and Ringside doctors did to Ortiz the night he faced Wilder. Beyonce Wilder was hurt going into the corner and they held on to him after the minute in the corner was up extra longer so he can get himself back together. I am glad Haymon ran investor money to the ground cause in all honesty the way the PBC robs for who they think shall remain undefeated is disgusting. Then the excuse was cause of Wilders safety if that is the case stop fight dont add extra time to recoup.

Before that he fought Tyson Fury who is the previous lineal champion. A fighter who has beaten much better fighters than Dillion. And before that he fought Luis Ortiz the guy who Dillion Whyte and AJ are clearly ducking.
So Wilder has been trying to get AJ in the ring for years, yet Dillion was knocked out by AJ. Yeah that makes sense clearly... Wilder is scared?
You guys just throw this ignorance out there. You don’t even believe this bs. Dillion Whyte hasn’t done anything remarkable so why should he cut line on getting his ring sleep?
Why the hell is he not fighting Ortiz or even Breazeale to get seen as a top tier heavyweight?
Here’s the answer, he doesn’t want the risk and he is just trying to capitalize off the hype of the AJ fight for the biggest payday.
No unearned fights based on Hearns hype man spin and AJ protection plan. Dillion Whyte should earn his place in history.
You must be a masochist for throwing this to the knowledgeable boxing public.
Good day, creepy man fan.

Been a big Wilder fan up to this point but if he rematchs Ortiz in a rematch no one is asking for, I'm done. What about Whyte, kownacki, povetkin, Parker or pulev as he waits on Joshua & fury to clear up their respective fights? Those are all good names smh. No one wants to see an ortiz 2 fight
