He's a tough out .... then add the judges ... and it's almost impossible to beat him. But he will be beat. How do I know?

Coming in at (estimated) 173 lbs against 149 lb. Floyd, and then getting clowned is a huge clue. Nelo is a tough out, but there are guys out here who will surprise him and stop him.

The question is: since he and oscar cherry pick all of his fights, will any of the stopper guys EVEN get a match? If they do, he will get beat. If they don't he may not ... besides Floyd's clinic.

And a (bought out) judge actually had no more professional ethic than to show him winning on his card. That fight?? LoL, pathetic.

Your premise was dumb because fighters don't age the same way. They don't even start at the same age.
Lol you can easily tell who knows what about fighting or is just a fat guy commenting by their comments the OP obviously has no buisiness talking pro boxing.

He's held to a high standard because of his success. Same with every great fighter. The more you achieve, the more fans will call you great, and the more detractors will say 'he's supposed to be great? No, first he has to jump through more hoops'.

I don't see that much unfair talk directed his way, especially about who he fights next. There was hype behind Charlo but the Korobov fight killed some of that. People respect Andrade, but few see him doing more than giving Canelo a difficult night at times but still losing a UD. After 2 fights with debated scores, some people want another Golovkin fight. But even then, GGG fans have been a lot less vocal than they were last year.

He can fight anyone of those 3 and I'd be happy with it. I just hope it's not Munguia as that would be real pointless.

All athletes take supplements, supplements have 95% contamination, and WADA doesn’t recommend supplement use. Canelo never cheated because he was tested for each fight. His finding had a cancellation but started VADA at 120 days away in the rematch. No high profile boxing match has gone that far and he’s now 365. There are 10,000 elite level Olympic athletes throughout the world. All these people take supplements within the 4 year gap even near to their recommended time to steer away from it because of advanced drug testing when the Olympics start. “Olympic style drug testing” is the types of samples collected and the types of spectrometry machines used.

Any boxer before 2011 non advanced drug testing and only pissing in a post fight urine test could clearly be seen as cheats as well since it’s a non regulated sport.

The ideal way to “cheat” is to have notorious substances in the new age such as HGH and EPO all during fight month. Cyclist where doing it DURING IN COMPETITION not 3 months away. Supplement, contamination.

Canelo is good but he also gets then benefit of damn near getting a guaranteed win if he doesn't get knocked out.

Canelo is held to the same standard as everyone else

He should have a couple more losses on his record at least - Lara, and Golovkin 1.

He wouldn’t be considered p4p 1 by some had the usual Goldenboy scoring taken place

Despite that, he has amassed a very respectable record, and it’s a shame he and his promotion have tainted that with failed drug tests and consistently su****ious scorecards.

If anything, Canelo’s standard is artificially boosted and the narrative should be harsher on him - putting him a step below what Goldenboy and some parts of the media are trying to place him

This thread seems so logically flawed.

'Why is Canelo held to a higher standard?

This guy is 3-0, that one is 3-0, and the other is 2-1 in title fights, while Canelo is 15-1-1, even though they're roughly the same age.

So why are people treating like a more experienced fighter?"...
