What? he ducked GGG for 2 years, and even handed his WBC title to him. He does take the big fights though, fair play to him, but he did wait for GGG to look older.

I do believe we'll see Canelo fight mostly big fights now. DAZN won't be giving him $350m without a big say in who he fights and get some return on their investment, it's not charity.

Canelo fought Borat 14 months after he tossed the WBC title for imposing a negotiation deadline on him.

And Borat could�ve got the fight sooner if he wasn�t such a difficult diva that thinks he is the superstar. Borat simply didn�t take the fight until he was happy with every aspect of negotiations, which is not Canelo�s fault. Dude clearly is not the businessman type.

props to him. at age 28, he faced everyone he is able to face. whether it took him a year or so. doesnt matter. there is a reason he signed with dazn fighting 11 fights for 365$ guaranteed.

Canelo and Golovkin are 8+ years apart in age. They simply would never both be in their prime for a fight with that big of an age gap.
