Comments Thread For: Wilder: This Won't Be Like Lewis-Bowe, Joshua FIght Will Happen

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder wants assure everyone that a potential unification with Anthony Joshua will not play out in the same fashion as the failed heavyweight cracker of the 90s between Rid**** Bowe and Lennox Lewis. Bowe and Lewis were Olympic rivals and their fight was one of the biggest bouts to be made in boxing.

I'm not even interested at this point. If it happens then great.

Wilder's next few fights are already mapped out and it doesn't include this fight, so no point in even talking about it anymore until next year.

A side B side killing boxing. Percentage of the purse should be determined by the odds-makers. Joshua v. Wilder probably round 50/50.

Americans and the U.K fans used to be friends.. now we allow greedy promoters to turn us against each other and tear us apart.. then the hate that they created makes us give them even more money.. SMH.. When will the spell be broken and we realize that we the fans are the suckers.. an each country deserves to have pride of their own fighters.. but this shouldn't translate to hate between fans.

Enough with the ducking already! One fight 50/50. Wilder would jump at it. The robot? Probably not!

The same thing can be said about AJ. Everybody knew Big Baby was gonna be AJ’s US debut this summer before the Povetkin fight even took place.

Indeed. Well, everyone knew it was either Whyte at Wembley or Miller.

How is the fight made if Joshua is contracted to DAZN? Wilder would have to sign with DAZN or at least a one-fight deal. Wilder v. Fury 2 seems like the only realistic fight to make. Wilder can take a one-fight deal to fight on ESPN Pay-Per-View.
