Why do the Brits hold their fighters in such his praise?

What the f3ck are you even talking about. Show me which country doesn't get pleasure from their sports stars doing well?Brits are PROFESSIONAL fans, most of them do nothing but look and get vicarious pleasure from what someone else is doing wherever they are from. It's second nature for them to fanboy foreigners, you do realise that's a bit strange don't you, nothing to brag about.
PS I'm not Murrican.
If those foreigners play for their home team, then yes, they enjoy watching them. Same with any other Football league with foreigners.Comment

You think it's a bad thing not being a nationalist and supporting boxers they like from other countries? I've liked many boxers from other countries over the years. Monzon, Tszyu, Trinidad etc etc..The fans of most countries back and support their own, Brits seem to back and support foreigners eg soccer, boxing. Of course they will back and support their own when they win, that's a given, everyone does that.
I'm not going to explain it more, it should be obvious and I think it's a bit weird.
You only like your home country fighters and support no one outside of it? And you think we're weird?
Where are you from anyway?Comment

Really? I hear USA USA with plenty of sports. The Ryder cup with Golf. Even Woman's Football. Boxing.I actually like how Brits get behind their fighters and I wish America would do the same. I feel like a lot of other nations have better 'team spirit' then America does. I don't know if its our dumbed down populace, our media blasting us with biased news, fear of standing for something, our increasing lethargy or lack of attention but I just don't feel a genuine Team America spirit anymore.
We don't really do that over here.
But yeah, most of our fighters get some quality support. We need to keep the sport alive.Comment

Own country sportsmen usually get first support in any country which does not mean that the best from anywhere are not recognised and appreciated. I guess that it's the UK soccer thing with me, teams owned by foreigners, managed by foreigners with lots of foreign players. A real typical UK sellout. You think it's a bad thing not being a nationalist and supporting boxers they like from other countries? I've liked many boxers from other countries over the years. Monzon, Tszyu, Trinidad etc etc..

Only few Brits think Calzaghe was great. Everyone knows he fought old Hopkins and Jones and he didn't fight the best. They parade around Calzaghe like he is an ATG lmao. Andre Ward would've beat him easy.
They thought Hatton would beat Mayweather.
They thought Kell Brook would beat Spence.
Lennox Lewis was slept by Rahman first and he beat a shell of Mike Tyson.
They think Joshua will do Wilder in, lmao.
No one expected Hatton to beat Mayweather but what did WaNT the Brits to do? Forsake their own.
As for Joshua he will beat Wilder and Wilder and his team know. Even Fury knows he can't beat Joshua that's why they want no part of him. A fight with Wilder is easy to make if he thinks he can get a win but because it's Joshua they try to be impossible.Comment
