Yeah those were the days when top name fighters still cared about what the fans wanted. LOL.

I'm kind of upset with this. I understand it's a business, but dammit I want to see fighters take on the most challenging and best boxers in the sport today. I want to see the best fight the best, not what gives them the biggest payday. They'll make millions either way.

You are preaching to the choir. But since its totally out of our control why not just sit back and laugh at the absurdity.

I have the Sept. 99' issue of KO magazine and on the cover is Mayweather and Mosley and it reads, "Mayweather v.s Mosley: Who's The Future of Boxing?" The article is like a 3 way discussion between Ray Leanord, Vinny Pazienza and Kevin Ronney about the two fighters. Leanord at the time was indecisive as to who would win but said, " if you ask me who's the next superstar between the two, Floyd Mayweather definitely comes to mind." At the time of the artical Mosley was 32-0 (30) and Mayweather was 20-0 (15).

I also remember reading an article way back when in which Mayweather said the he would easily beat Mosley if they ever fight, but he wasnt exactly calling him out.

I was just crackin up at how Mayweather straight up called Mosley a ***** - in a nicer way though.

He said, im gonna talk to his wife JIN, she runs the show and househould there, in my house, i run the show.

              lollll

that is one huge ****in low blow by Mayweather.

If I was Mosley, and was a MAN, id take the fight and beat his ass and say WHO RUNS THE ***IN SHOW NOW *****???

you know what's funny, everytime i see a floyd thread, the same people like to comment on it an repeat the same **** they always let us know. shane was afrain to fight mayweather in 2006, because he was second guessing himself. he knows floyd is a smarter and more polished boxer than he is. what you guys leave out, is that floyd wanted to fight shane in 2006, and then shane claimed his tooth hurt, which it probably did, but floyd fights with broken hands, so why can't shane fight with a hurt tooth. also, he was taking a vacation. this sounds pathetic to me. what he really means to say is that he knows he cannot defeat floyd and every excuse he can come up with, he will. many on here love to bring up the margarito/floyd issue, but then find a way to criticize floyd when it comes to shane because deep down inside, they want anybody to beat floyd, no matter who it is. hell, don king could fight floyd tomorrow, and people on here would find a way to give don king a shot and possibly beat floyd. that's just biased hatred towards floyd because you people cannot handle the fact that floyd is going to be true to himself, and it pisses you people off. floyd knows that a shane mosley/floyd mayweather fight would be big, and a floyd mayweather/antonio margarito fight won't mean too much. he's never claimed that he wasn't a business man, and didn't want the big fights, and he felt that tony vs floyd would not gross any money, but shane, oscar vs floyd will sell many tickets. now, shane's tooth hurt and he needs a vacation. that sounds like ducking to me folks.

also, oscar claimed that he woul dnot fight floyd he floyd fought shane in february of this year. did people forget about that? i'm sure they didn't but would never mention it, because of your biased hatred towards floyd mayweather. why did oscar not get criticized for this claim. was he afraid that golden boy would get embarrased by floy dwhich he will and shane would also get punsihed by floyd which he would? i think he was and still is.
