Wilder would only need to land 1 of those on AJ to put him to sleep and he will land one. AJ doesn’t have defense like Fury

Yes but like i said it isn't always down to the fighter. Matchmaking, hype, contracts, marketing, everything is done for them by their promoters, agents, etc etc. People who don't really need to give a damn about legacy, and more about keeping their fighter unbeaten, or maintaining hype as long as possible (Mayweather- Pacquiao). Why would the fighter or his management risk everything when they don't need to (yet)?

of course wilder did a good job as expected. I personally won't be happy if Breazeale was to be the guy to KO wilder...

I need to see AJ/wilder. That's the climax.

But. tell the truth, you are aj huh?

I get it, just make money, etc etc.

Wilder, AJ, & Fury already have gold legacies and money will always find them with whats already in the history books. A loos by any or all of them won't change that.

Once your grandchildren are secure (theirs are and they don't even have any yet), other things should matter to a man. As a fan I hope other things matter.
True, but who is to say what matters more to a fighter's pride, remaining undefeated? Or taking the risk of getting KO'd to try to be undisputed? And knowing that if/when they take their first loss, it's usually downhill from there. Sure, from a purely gladiatorial point of view the best should always want to be THE best, but fighters are managed more smartly than the old schoolers back in the day, back when they'd fight twice a week if they could and just fought for the sake of fighting.

No fighter is gonna be ready 365 days a year, its just not gonna happen. According to you guys Ortiz is "old" - he is in boxing years. No dis*****g that. He can't always be "ready" whenever Joshua decides to fight someone else, its just not practical - life happens, kids happen, pain happens etc,. OOOr he could be cycling off something illegal. Anything is possible!

Pardon my deficient example I'm about give, but If some good lookin' chick that youre friendly with tells you there's a chance for you and her to start dating exclusively, with the only condition being: "wait around" while she decides by dating other guys. You wouldnt be too smart to wait around. Date me excusively! Give me my time NOW!

In other words "full camps" are priceless if used properly. Let me know from the get go that I must prepare for YOU excusively, so I can prepare for YOU exclusively! Watching tapes, choosing specific sparring partners, gaining weight, losing weight is ALL part of CAMP! E. Steward, Tommy Hearns, Lennox and R.Leonard are just a few who swear by a full camp - to be ready against a DANGEROUS opponent. Simply being "ready" day in and day out is nonsensical.....

Nice victory for Thuggery tonite, but the history of thugs is never a good one when they get exposed.

Well, that's by the way..... looking forward to see what Ruiz got for us. am sure hez a more solid guy than butter Breazeale.

Breazeale and his corner has no ring IQ.

He shouldn't have engaged that much in the first. Use the first round to size tour opponent especially if it's a power guy like wilder. The more round you go the more chances you have to win.

It's clear that great punchers get frustrated easily.

So yeah it's unfair that Whyte hasn't had his chance, but the outcome is the same.
Nothing is the same until it has happened.
Am pretty sure there were many like you during tyson/douglas, already wrote him off even before the fight was made.
