No wilders whole career is a black mark in the dark. Look at the bums and that's putting it lightly that he fought. A guy at 25-0 should have been fighting much better competition. He created a new standard for cherry picking.Comment

But...Just playing devil's advocate here:
He isn't highly-rated though (DB), or even rated as a top 10 HW by The Ring or TBRB. So I can see his point of view. He's probably thinking why is Wilder so hyped up and so highly rated when we have similar KO rate and he has no losses and I have only 1 loss to the best, and otherwise he has 1 more good opponent than me which he fought to a draw with.
On the other hand, Wilder only had 30 something amateur fights, so it was necessary for him to be developed like he was in the pros. Can't just fight peak Wladimir Klitschko right off the bat.Comment

wilder is one of the most recognized and highest paid US fighters in the game...thats FACT
youre acting as if AJ represents the vast majority of the HW scene and US fighters....AJ is a seperate and unique entity
compare wilder to other US fighters ...in money and recognition....
ruiz will make good money for the AJ fight...but what he makes will be dwarfed by what wilder makes when he fights AJ....get it?
are you trying to say finkel, haymon and espinoza know nothing ? you do realize haymon reps ruiz too right? lol
friggin idiot
Highest paid and most well known? The sad thing is you are actually right.
But to put that into context last year Mayweather made $275m from one fight against a non boxer.
Wilder made $4m in his world title fight on ppv versus Fury. The highest pay day of his life.
The point about Ruiz which seemed to slip you buy is that he is estimated to be getting around $5m+ for his fight. Which as mentioned is more than WIlder has ever earned. That is a World Champion making less money than a guy who has pretty much done **** all in his career.
Your method to back up the guys who are in charge of him relies purely on one thing. For him to keep winning. That build up to super money means both Wilder and AJ have to keep winning and building up their star power around the globe.
One loss and it all comes crashing down. For either guys.
Seeing as everyone pretty much thinks Wilder lost the Fury fight you would think those powerful guys would have taken the warning on board?Comment

I know that you're desperately seeking my attention..... but fk off. I've already embarrassed you enough and I'm not interested in spending the next 7 days exposing your idiocy and inferiority.Comment

I can't speak for everyone and don't want to see them or any boxing promotion fail, but my frustration is that they appear to be the common roadblock to the fights I most want to see and believe would best promote the sport.
Mikey v Loma has been ruined, Spence v Crawford is getting the MayPac treatment and Joshua v Wilder is going the same way. I don't understand fans who actively support this in all honesty.
Pointing at Top Rank and saying "what about them" is all well and good but we can't criticize them and support PBC doing the exact same thing.Comment

That just seems like a reason to b itch. Why cry about what should have happened back then when it has zero bearing on what is happening today.Comment
