Deontay Wilder will "only" give away 32 pounds in this title defense. The WBC heavyweight champion came in at 223 pounds Friday for his scheduled 12-round fight Saturday night against Dominic Breazeale. The 6-feet-7 Wilder was nearly 11 pounds heavier for this fight than for his last outing a 12-round split draw with England's Tyson Fury on December 2 at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Exactly, he really needs to get back up to the 230 range he had a bit earlier in his career. Taking punches from men 40-60 lbs heavier isn’t easy

            Bad move. Lighter is better.

Still light for a heavyweight, but at least he's natural.

You'll never see a guy like Big Baby Miller get under 240.

It's his highest weight total since Gerald Washington back in 2017; When he weighed 222lbs. Now he is weighing 223lbs for Dominic Breazeale. He is looking much healthier and back closer to his normal weight again.

Nor wise! I love Mark Breland, but Wilder needs someone like Breadman to step his game up! No disrespect intended!

I've been meaning to ask you, what do you think of Efe Ajagba's development? 2020?

He needs to put the extra poundage on those foghorn leghorn stilts of his.
