this fight got ESPN front page coverage thanks to Wilder's rant. that rarely happens to a fringe sport.

For me, the problem isnt really with the tirade itself and what hes saying because weve seen fighters in the past say ****** **** like this.
To me the problem is how corny, forced, and cringeworthy wilders "act" has derailed into. Before when he was less in the spotlight i wouldnt say he wasnt a talker, but he talked a lot less and had more of a prove it in the ring attitude. Its just been his last 2-3 fights, were he comes out screaming and jumping around like a clown. And incessantly going on incoherent rants that are supposed to sound tough/cool??? But just make him look like a dumbass
He should just be himself because its hard to watch this act. Just go in there and do your thing wilder stop trying to be mike tyson !

All the manginas need to die for the sake of men everywhere.
Every boxer knows your life is at risk, it’s up to Brezeale to put up a fight and prevent his destruction.
Besides this is all hype but to get your panties in a bunch over it shows
How feminine y’all is.Comment

Are you saying that many fighter want to kill their opponents? What evidence leads you to believe that? Care to throw in some names? Does GGG, for example, want to see Canelo dead? Or AJ wants to murder Whyte?Comment

I haven't had a chance to watch the Wilder v Breazeale presser yet but imagine that that's where it came from. There are a few reports online...
As you can probably tell, it p*ssed me off!
I first started to get really critical of Wilder after the DAZN deal and since then I can't help but dislike all the nonsense he's been coming out with lately. He just strikes me as a fraud.
Still an entertaining fighter though so I'm looking forward to the fight in a big way, but expecting a standard Wilder win... struggling to get his distance for a few rounds and then find a right hand. Breazeale is way too face-forward with his defence and I'm sure he's going to walk right into something big.
I really think Wilder would struggle with Kownacki's style though and I don't see him lasting at the top level for long without being beatComment
