Oh boy, I hadn't actually considered this. ****, my initial reaction was, not that much would probably change after being headline news for a week or 2. But the more I think about it and the general shift towards safety in American sports, I think it may honestly be the end of boxing in the US if that happens. Certainly the worst case scenario for the sport and I bet all the powers in boxing would come together to try to shift all the negative press directly on Wilder to save their own tails. I honestly believe you would see a huge push from the general public to have the sport banned in this country if that happened.
How much DAMAGE to boxing if Wilder actually KILLS Breazeale??

Would be a segment on ESPN. Then the sports world goes back to caring about the NBA playoffs. Some may be overestimating how relevant boxing and the athletes involved are.Comment

Plenty of people have died in the ring. The question is how would it effect Wilder? I dont think he as sadistic as a Sergey. Wudnt be suprised if it fcked him up mentally. Wilder at heart is a good guy.Comment

Oh, gawd. I can only imagine how ^that would get spliced in with clips of the punches that ended Breazeale's life.Randomly another underrated angle to this is how much do Law Of Attraction books get bought in the aftermath of Breazeale's death if Wilder spoke it into existence?
Or how much does Law Of Attraction take a hit if Wilder fails to kill Breazeale on Saturday?

While I don't think there's much of a chance of any of this happening, it's interesting to speculate the fallout of something like this because there's always the possibility.Comment
