It’s not a racial term so to speak but if a white person calls a black man uppity you know what they’re getting at. Similar to a white man calling a black man “boy” it’s not a racist word so to speak but we know what you mean. Personally I think wilder could’ve chose his words better here because breazle doesn’t even come across as arrogant but it’s nothing to cry about.Comment
