The fight is not going to happen. Who rejects 120m for 3 fights?

Co manager needs to get on the same page. Josuha offered 15, 50, 100, 120 million and a straight up 50% split...Wilder said he's not interested.

Wilder's plan is to knock out Dominique Brezeale then rematch Ortiz and maybe avenge his the loss to Tyson Fury.

        Hopefully he doesn't get beat.

These 2 will fight. This is the reason why BOTH fighters are reluctant to lock themselves into any kind of deal. A Fury fight is iffy for both Wilder and AJ because Fury is locked down. A split ppv sight is the ONLY way that fight goes down. Fury is not coming over DAZN and AJ aint coming over to ESPN. But Wilder AJ can happen.

Are you from the U.K ?
I ask because the boxing landscape is different in the U.S .
Boxing seems to be mainstream in the U.K while in the U.S it's still trying to get back on it's feet .
The fact that tickets are Readily available ( as you said ) is nothing new here . Most tickets sell the day of the fight .
This boxing is not a mainstream sport is no longer an excuse. It's lame.
Even in this same not Mai stream sport, Manny, Floyd and canelo are doing great numbers. Wilder is just not that type of chpion Americans want hence they prefer to watch him for free.

I wouldn't be surprised if they hit over 2mil view against Breazeale but put the same fight on ppv, less than 300k will pay to see it.
Wilder is a weak champ and the American knows this.

The pressure is on Team Wilder. They know it, that 100m dollar offer has really exposed them as the ones avoiding the fight/negotiation. Cannot imagine Team Joshua turning down 100m dollars from showtime for Andy Ruiz and two Wilder fights. Wilder would be on the microphone every second trying to convince everyone how Joshua didn’t want it.

Shame Showtime or Haymon couldn’t put that 50m offer down for Team Joshua, they really missed the boat there trying to get the money from BT sport.

When did Hearns/Joshua offer a straight up 50% split?
