How Fox inflates their ratings

It is really no different to be honest. People wanting to see Sportcenter tuned in and caught Berchelt vs Vargas making that Peak at 1 Million+. Only difference is that being on Fox you reach a much Larger Audience but it is all done on purpose by all of these Networks. ESPN and FOX are investing THEIR money into these Boxing Programs so they can do WTF they want on THEIR NETWORKSwho said it’s a bad thing?
It’s actually the reverse of what espn does or what cbs did with Spence after the gold medal basketball. Espn and cbs could only keep people who didn’t want to change the channel.
This way fox is doing it if u want to see the nightly news u are stuck watching the end of the fight. That’s why hurd Williams peaked at 1045-1053 as some people waited for the fight to end.Comment

You fking losers with your network wars. Bunch of godamn f@ggots on this forum anymore. Tiresome to come here and see that people don't even talk about the science and how certain fights might go down. Just just bicker about networks and promoters.Comment

Well it depends what time Berchelt vargas ended. And being it was a 7th round KO I think it ended way before sports center was supposed to start so that’s not a good comparison. Fox routinely has an extra fight and goes long. Espn not so much.It is really no different to be honest. People wanting to see Sportcenter tuned in and caught Berchelt vs Vargas making that Peak at 1 Million+. all the pbc nut huggers have brought it to this. Someone had to take a stand against this biased forum and level the playing field.Comment

"Bias"... I see more DAZN and ESPN shilling ****** on here than I do PBC fanboys. They all fking suck right now in my eyes and none of these promos are putting on good matches. You guys that try to "help" (or whatever the *** you're doing) one over the other need to get lives. Why not stick up for... THE FANS, and forget about the gay ass ratings. Rating are a popularity contest for forum f@gs.
Sad day when boxing fans are so fem they argue about ratings instead of actual fights.Comment

Big problem with your/Keith's theory . . .
Pretty much every football game goes an hour over the "scheduled" time. Pretty much every basketball game goes 30-40 minutes over the "scheduled" time.
Has nothing to do with ratings tricks and nothing to do with boxing. This is standard procedure for most live sports on pretty much every network in the US.Comment

OK...YOU WIN! How dare FOX go over on their own Network they should be fined by the FCC for doing such a thing!

Sportcenter usually gets lower ratings than boxing so that theory doesn't make sense. Having a great lead in is good for ratings but they're not trying to trick people into watching boxing because it's already on their programming guide.UH...OK?
Smart actually! No different than...
ESPN Loma on right after a highly rated Heisman Trophy Presentation
ESPN Putting Crawford on right after a Highly Rated Alabama vs Missouri College Football Game
Boxing on ESPN also goes over and hit Peak Numbers based on people waiting for Sportscenter to start
...and this is a bad thing HOW?
Boxing NEEDS to lean on other programming to score good ratings because overall nobody besides us give a SH#T about boxing. So YEAH PLEASE continue to do whatever to get people more interested in the sport of Boxing even if it means going over and grabbing the attention of the casual fans wait for their Local Fox News Broadcast to Start or on ESPN waiting for Sportcenter to Start
Overrunning your alloted time is a dumb strategy if they want to boost ratings because you're putting an extra undercard fight that no one cares about and few people will watch which will drag down your average. You're also forcing your main event to compete against ESPN, DAZN, and Saturday Night Live and that was reflected when Garcia-Granados suffered because it was on at the same time as the Crawford-Khan PPV.
PBC's strategy might be to run over their time to give their fighters more exposure but I'm not convinced it's to inflate their ratings.Comment
