This is true. I will point out that there is not much indication many know about the business side of boxing either. Everybody here turned into a financial advisor or a lawyer in the last couple of years. LOL.

It all started when Haymon and Floyd rescued the sport from the ***s and gave the power back to the athletes.

You spent years caring about and debating it when Floyd was the top name in the sport but now it doesn't matter? All that time saying Pac should take a flat fee Vs Floyd because Floyd was the A side? All the time saying GGG should take a flat fee because Canelo was the A side? Did you get proved wrong so many times you're taking a knee on the subject? Maybe just say that instead of acting like you're above that kind of talk or a better kind of boxing fan

Fk else are they going to talk about? Trainers, defense, technique, regiment, who is coming up the ranks from the AM's to pros, legendary fights, underrated old timers? Hell most the dudes on here couldn't name a single fighter from each of the past five decades of the sport if you offered them money and took away search capabilities. They grew into the sport through the soap opera that was Floyd vs Manny..they think that's really all boxing is. Most of the legit fans that were here moved on to other platforms to get away from that same wave of "fans". Literally today's "boxing fan" 9 times out of ten is the equivalent of the most belligerent dude in a drunken conversation over the top five rappers..literally that's it in a nutshell. You know the dude who kicks over the chair, spills his two sips of cognac, and puts on theatrics because he can't BELIEVEEEEEEEEEEEEE you don't think the sun shines out of Drake's azz.

I don't understand why fans takes sides of promoters or networks, it's ridiculous. Or taking some sort of victory in how much their fighter is earning, like it goes into their pockets.

I understand the actual fighters and their teams caring about A-side and B-side. If you're bringing much more the table, you rightly want that to be reflected in the rewards.

No boxer cares about what you are getting paid, so don't take some sort of moral victory in what they're getting paid. They're the ones taking money from your pocket if you pay to watch them, not the other way around.
