this ^^^^ I see no reason for the IBF mandating this pointless fight. Lou must be dropping some serious coin to get this ordered right now. There is already like half a dozen better fighters all in front of the line for that Canelo lottery ticket and they come out of left field with this garbage. If you don't get it by now these belt orgs don't want 1 fighter champ of all the belts. Much better for their pockets to extort 4 and in the WBA case 5 different fighters for sanction fees and create chaos with the belts.

This is the fight that should happen next but Hearn putting on the Andrade fight so late in June and saying Andrade can't be ready for Sept now means we might get this fight with Dervy or they really going to strip Canelo for fighting someone BETTER then Dervy whether that is GGG, Charlo, etc.

Dervy is a Dec type fight if Canelo wants to squeeze in another late fight of the year like he did Fielding. It's not a Mexican Holiday type fight. This is the problem with these belt orgs Canelo trying to sweep all the belts all within a 12 month span and now the IBF trying to phuk all that up when he needs 1 more belt to go. And you can't even complain oh this fighter is elite Dervy ain't he lost to Jacobs and you can't scream oh he has been waiting forever for his shot mofo just got his title shot 6 months ago he don't need another 1 so fast.
