IBF has some crazy rules how do you become a mandatory and get a orded title shot and lose and then almost 6 months later you are now the mandatory and being order again for another title shot so phuking soon?

He just lost his title shot to Jacobs back in like November. WTF

This is the fight that should happen next but Hearn putting on the Andrade fight so late in June and saying Andrade can't be ready for Sept now means we might get this fight with Dervy or they really going to strip Canelo for fighting someone BETTER then Dervy whether that is GGG, Charlo, etc.

Dervy is a Dec type fight if Canelo wants to squeeze in another late fight of the year like he did Fielding. It's not a Mexican Holiday type fight. This is the problem with these belt orgs Canelo trying to sweep all the belts all within a 12 month span and now the IBF trying to phuk all that up when he needs 1 more belt to go. And you can't even complain oh this fighter is elite Dervy ain't he lost to Jacobs and you can't scream oh he has been waiting forever for his shot mofo just got his title shot 6 months ago he don't need another 1 so fast.

Would be a good fight. I doubt it will happen though. GGG trilogy is still the most likely option for Canelo.

I have minimal interest in this fight tbh. Derevyanchenko had his opportunity against Jacobs less than 9 months ago and beating Culcay doesn’t justify another one. I’d much rather see Canelo fight GGG again or unify with Andrade. Hopefully they agree a step-aside deal.
