DSG is right there with porter, One Time & possibly Errol who are the top of the division.

Spence Crawford are the elite you can maybe still put Pac there too but that’s it. Then there is Thurman who is better than porter and porter is better than danny according to how those fights went so that leaves Danny #6 and Mikey who knows where it’s not a ppv worthy fight.

This is also a highly strategic move by al haymon. He knows FOX will heavily promote this fight with tie ins and mentions on other sports shows and live sporting events. He knows that arum has sought to make fights for Crawford and Loma for both fighters. This is also one that will capture two groups of Latinos...Mexican Americans and Puerto Rican’s with that age old rivalry....this is an attempt to be seen more than canelo’s last fight on dazn. We will see how it all plays out in the wash but I can see the angles Haymon is playing. The Harvard business school graduate is combining aspects of Machiavelli’s “availability” with Sun Tzu’s “Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win.” Ie....while Hearn and arum are being seen, talking, calling for boycotts, making racial statements, insulting fighters for not signing with them or their app, haymon is making moves on a chess board. The worst thing both guys could have ever done is try to directly erode PBC....haymon is a silent assassin.

Loma’s goal is to become undisputed, he has to hold on to his belts for that, hence the croalla mandatory fight. Mikey is bouncing around trying to pick off the easiest title holders... zlaticanin, Broner, Easter aren’t what you’d call tough challenges for an A level fighter. Spence was a money grab, Garcia literally did nothing but survive for a moral victory.

Also Campbell is next, pretty sure he could outbox Easter, he made a good account for himself against linares, and has an accomplished amateur pedigree.

Mikey bit off more that he could on his last fight. A while back he wanted Cotto at 154. Cotto def would of stopped him. Let's see how he does with Danny.

Close fights against Keith & porter is not dog shets. Don't be surprised if DSG K.O.'s Mikey & be the 1st to do it like he did Granados.

I'm with you on this one. Spence really softened Mikey up so who knows, could be like when Floyd fought guys and they were never quite the same afterwards.

Danny has a lot more experienced than Spence, especially in big fights. He's also a very good counter puncher, unlike Spence. I'd also say Garcia's power is comparable to Spence, who is no 1 punch KO artist himself IMO. Danny has always been very heavy handed as well.

So to me, it all depends on how much the Spence fight has taken out of Mikey. He's going to lose either way, but I wouldn't be 1 bit surprised if Danny stops him. If Danny has him hurt he's def not going to play around or let off the gas that's for sure, because from what he and his dad have said in recent interviews they think he's too small for WW and were surprised Spence didn't stop him.

horrible fight and on ppv? no! mikey showed with his performance against spence he doesn't belong at 147 or on ppv. mickey mouse and al gaymon want to fleece the fans again! this will be pbc going forward make every fight ppv whether its worthy or not. I will not be buying and nor should any one else

arum offered danny a fight with crawford but of course danny turned it down and ducked crawford knowing full well he'd get destroyed. bob arum has al gaymon's entire roster on the run lol no of them want any part of crawford.
