Taking shorts of $100-150K per fight? Hell Nah! I would've bounced too! I want to see what happens to Relikh, Prograis, and Baranchyk after the WBSS! They were all fighting on SHO before then, with the exception of that one fight Prograis had on ESPN! Those 3, plus Mario Barrios, might entice Mikey back to 140! If Mikey does beat DSG, what does he do then?

Mikey is in bad odor now after the Spence fight because of his lame performance, not so much because he is with Al Haymon. Hope he redeems himself, but I don’t see him beating any of the top welterweights I Harmon’s stable.

As much as I like Mikey, I can't deny his performance against Spence was putrid. Same thing I felt about Danny and his fight against Thurman.

I really like both guys and just hope they both fight like I know they can, especially since I plan to buy the PPV.

I agree. Let's just hope that Mikey isn't broken and comes out to win this time and not cash out or refuse to try like he did against Erroll Spence, Jr. If Saturday night proved anything is that anybody can bounce back from a loss by turning a setback into a comeback.

Yeah. My only guess is Mikey took a few shots from Spence and was like f-ck it. He isn't suited for 147 but he can't really make any good money at 140 or 135 because his old promoter has all the best guys in those divisions.

As great as the Stub Hub is to watch a live fight (it's the best LA venue but there's nothing in the area to do before or after the fight) that fight would make more sense in the forum or Staples center because they are twice the size (unless they would use the soccer stadium at Stub Hub).

I like Garcia-Garcia would probably be at Staples. It seems PBC uses that venue and not the Forum. I'd be all for this fight. I think the styles will mesh well for a fun fight.

THIS ^^^^^ Chavez was the losing end of a much BIGGER PPV and like Mikey embarrassed himself we are years removed from that fight and Chavez still can't get the stink off himself from it. No one would even think about putting Chavez in another PPV his next fight demanding fans once again fork over bucks to see him fight let alone 6months after the quit job like they are doing with Mikey. This isn't a good look and a HARD sell to the buying public. Remember that guy that robbed and cheated you out of money because he showed up just to steal your money and refused to fight pay 90 bucks for his next fight on PPV against the guy Porter and Thurman already beat while the 2 guys who just beat both Mikey and Porter are fighting each other for FREE on FOX.

The good thing for Mikey is that Danny is not Spence so the reach and height advantage won't be so crazy neither the power. The bad thing is that this should not be ppv, good fight but not ppv. I'm def watch it and root for Mikey, maybe watch it live. Tkts will probably be cheaper than ppv
