but i dont wanna pay PPV prices to see the quality of the fighter Crawford is against someone who has absolutely zero shot. Crawford is top notch, but I cant realistically see him fighting anyone soon with even a decent shot of beating him anytime soon (and thats a credit to his skill and a shot at TR-aligned 147s). That counts his past 3 fights which were all mismatches.

Even if you're being sarcastic, tribalism is what makes sports what they are. You have a base devoted to a team, club or champion often because of race, religion or location. They have their own colors, chants and customs. Yes, what we need are more tribal fans, at least they will be loyal unlike what we have now.

You sound like someone who would pay to watch Pac, Thurman or Porter before JRock? Would you buy a suit at KMart too?

I can't appreciate the quality of peg-leg Benividez enough to pay anymore than the cost of a 6-pack

Once again, when did JRock become a PPV fighter?

And you're talking to the wrong person, I buy damn near every PPV.

But But But PBC tho...Dead tho. This actually did better than 2 super stars in Canelo Jacobs. The average did better as well with 1.4 million viewers. Keep Hatin. #Al Haymon #PBC.

                PBC?
My props go to williams/hurd for putting up a war!!!! PBC WHO? The one dimensional company who avoids champs outside of PBC! Lets get it right it is the FIGHTERS who make a fight not the promoters that for every 5 events they deliver 1 good event!
Not sure how pbc stays a float with some of the horrible events they had! Either or cong**** new champ williams and to Hurd for that violent 12 rounds of violence!

DAZN has been around only 2 and a half years as a company, half the countries they are in just launched months ago and specifically they only been around in the US like 8 months and still just generated 48M in revenue from new subscribers for the canelo fight alone. There is almost nothing you can compare DAZN to and how fast they have grown. DAZN is a subscription service that made money on the canelo fight

FOX is on Network TV available in 116M homes for FREE and there is tons of comps last weekend alone, other sporting events on network TV and even with UFC on FOX same network as PBC these numbers aren't good for Network TV. I have no clue why you bringing up DAZN and the fact they had by all accounts a huge weekend to FOX pulling dead last in network TV ratings? I dont want to hear about unknown fighters when the UFC pulled much higher ratings on the regular with lesser know fighters.

There are low level undercard fights that aired on ESPN2 this year that had higher TV ratings the the 360K PPV buys that Spence/Garcia did. Did those fights with with journeyman and prospects making their pro debut do better then the 2 biggest stars of PBC did on PPV? You comparing PPV or DAZN subscription service to basic cable or free network tv? If that's the case then this also did better then all but a couple Floyd PPVs because not many of his PPVs did 1.4M buys. All Floyd fights and Canelo/Jacobs generated infinitely more money and we're more successful then PBC finishing dead last with subpar Network ratings.

2M is good TV ratings for Network tv. You have reruns of shows that have already been decided on being canceled drawing 1-1.5M while PBC did 1.4M. A rerun of American Idol just did over 2M beating out PBC.
