Fury knows this too.

The WBC have twice mandated Fury vs Wilder so it's obviously a fight they like. I think they would also love to get rid of Whyte as Wilder's No1 contender.

They could kill 2 birds with one stone by mandating Fury vs Whyte for the diamond belt, which is a fight I would strongly favour Fury to win.

Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte insist they are willing to fight later this year. Last week, Fury shot down a potential eliminator against Whyte, but now he's changed his mind. The World Boxing Council last week ordered they fight in a final eliminator to challenge WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, who Fury controversially drew with in December.

Fury called the WBA Super “a paper belt that was made up for Klitschko“ but now he wants the WBC Diamond.

Hopefully he just wants to add this belt to his collection and still plans to fight for the proper belt

Like I already said, this lazy bum Tyson Fury only wants the 'Diamond' belt because it requires no work ; you have to defend a WBC interim title. Deep down Fury doesn't give A DAMN about his imagined linear title, and wishes that he could win the real WBC championship of the world like only the true elites can!

Furys only claim to fame is winning against 90 yr old Klitchgo. Wilder damn near killed him and he won't rematch him right away out of fear. Who does Fury think he is? Lol.

I see no problem. Progras - Velasco at 140 was for diamond WBC title.

I am with Fury here. Wilder should fight Whyte or Fury ( again) than to prove he is real WBC champ.
