Will you give Pacquiao credit if he beats Thurman, and vice versa?

If Pacquiao manages to beat One Time will you guys actually give Pac any credit for that win? I see a lot of people saying that Pac only picked Thurman based on his last fight but aren't even acknowledging the fact that he has the best resume out of Spence and Crawford. Thurman is the most proven WW. Also, Pac is at that stage in his career where he doesn't need to be fighting the Top guys at WW so I don't get why people still have the audacity to call this a "cherry pick" fight.

If Thurman beats Pacquiao in convincing manner then that should also be considered as a great win for him and would solidify his status as the the top guy in the division. He would have a legends name on his resume.

Both should be commended for making this fight happen. Hoping for it to be an entertaining barnburner and may the best man win.

No. Neither deserves any extra credit. Both are semi-retired and should consider making it permanent. This fight is at most "Meh."

Yes and yes! Thing is, if Keith gets credit for beating Manny, then it should be the same way around if Manny wins.

Half of these guys won't fight each other, but want to fight top attractions like Manny and Floyd.

If they get the opportunity, they should win convincingly and take the torch...not struggle like Broner did and keep Manny relevant for another 6-12 months.

          I'll always credit a win. That's not a question.

The question is whether the win - for either guy - will have an asterisk. Right now, I'm seeing an asterisk either way you cut it, slice it or weigh it.

If Thurman beats Manny solid: "Manny's old"
If Manny beats Thurman solid: "Thurman was coming off injury"

If Thurman beats Manny controversial: "Prime Thurman couldn't get a 40 year old out of there"
If Manny beats Thurman controversial: "Thurman got robbed!"

If it goes to a draw: "Al Haymon paying judges to protect _______"

For the good of the sport, Thurman should soundly and decisively beat Manny. But I don't think that happens.

Yes. There are built in excuses in which people will use post-fight, but both fighters will deserve credit for a win

Keep encouraging Pacquiao until he gets killed in the ring. Good luck man.

Keith looked finished last time out but when pac Beats him it will still be a very good win.

How could you not? Pacquaio is in his 40's, was washed up about 6-7 years ago and people have been demanding Spence-Thurman so why wouldn't Pacquaio get credit? It's probably the folks that discredit every win of every fighter they dislike that are already putting out excuses to cover their bases.
