March 16, 2019: Spence vs. Garcia

All the highlighted names won their fights! Out of those who won their fights, Thurman had the worst performance! Spence, after totally dominating Mikey Garcia in front of 47K, said he would be honored to fight Pacquiao! Manny waited, and decided NOT to fight Spence, but chose (Manny is the A-side) Keith Thurman! Had he chosen Mikey Garcia, after Mikey did not win one single round vs. Spence, he would've been humiliated! Now, call it coincidence, or call it whatever you want, but Mr. Gibbons is incorrect! Pacquiao did NOT choose the "BEST AVAILABLE!" Spence and Crawford are the "BEST AVAILABLE!" I still give Manny his props b/c Thurman is the "MOST PROVEN" Welterweight! I can't wait to chat with you on July 21st! LOL!

This is a solid post. Manny is trying to earn $20+ mil for the PPV. Spence would get him that but Spence would bludgeon him half to death. Garcia would as well, had he come off a better performance.

Thurman was the top WW before the long layoff. He has a title , is undefeated, and is still one of the top 3 WW's in the world. He is the perfect PPV opponent for the next fight-he's coming off a win, has a solid reputation, but didn't look like the peak Thurman of old and most importantly, Manny has a chance to beat him and set up an even bigger PPV should that happen.

I agree, this was a great pick! I just know that Thurman was not "the best available," as Gibbons stated! I'm definitely all in on the plan! I called it "THE PBC PLAYOFF FINALS!" Spence vs. Porter in the East, and Pac vs. Thurman in the West!

You know how some people get in their feelings. If you say "Loma is outstanding," they say "He's the best ever," then when you disagree, they think you're a hater! I noticed that this man is a cool cat.
Manny couldn't have picked a better adviser at this stage of his illustrious career.
But Thurman will give Manny all he can handle. with his speed, mobility and reach.

His fighting Thurman now doesn't erase the fact he has fought guys coming off of losses. If there was a guy coming off a loss that Manny thought could help him earn the $20+mil on a PPV right now, he would've chosen him.

Times are different and Manny isn't drawing the same numbers so he has to make different choices than in the past. You aren't that much of a simpleton that you can't understand that.

You keep saying Bob, but it was Bob, Freddie, and Koncz! I know his team constantly has a failure to communicate (scared of needles, fake contracts, can't check a "yes" box, etc.) but it seems they all did not want that smoke! Secondly, someone said "Arum blocked the fight" to protect Crawford! Arum did admit he blocked the fight, but not for the same reason! That's where your dumb azz jumped in!
