Hearns the UK equivalent of Haymon looks after his own.

Hearn asked for a contract which got refused (Wilder made a load of piss poor excuses) then AJ declined.

Ortiz's promoter declined called Hearn a joke then Hearn threatened to expose them, they said they messed up saying then they come out and said they would accept a contract was sent too little too late.

The difference is in the order and that's the key.

There's no denying the recent offers were real and more than generous, even coming from DAZN and not Hearn, so Wilder was really caught running scared on that occasion.

I was alluding to the initial offers this time last year and before.

Even the other offers were legit. The first one of 12.5 is a lot more than Wilder has ever earned. It's just his delusion that thinks he's worth more even though he doesn't generate shlt.

Comparing this situation to the $50million offer from Finkel to AJ is just wrong. Hearn neither accepted nor turned down that offer. He told Finkel he was "very interested" in it and asked to be sent a term sheet or a contract. Finkel refused to oblige.

Thanks for the positive words! I also agree with your point about Hearn rallying to get an opponent set within the short time he had left.

I have my own su****ions and theory on the $50mill offer from Team Wilder last year, but wont elaborate since the topic isnt about that. Lets just say its not flattering to Team Wilder.

You posted more evidence for me than for you lol. Hearn turning down a deal due to there being no contract, and then trying to save face later is what you're saying Ortiz did, right? So we can call a spade a spade and say that Hearn is a slimy promoter like all the other promoters, right?

From my recollection of what was reported from different outlets, was that Team Joshua had in fact initially accepted the $50mill offer hence the request for a meeting in New York to go over and discuss the details of the contract with Team Wilder, but for reasons not clear the meetings were cancelled and no discussions or draft contract was ever provided. Maybe I misundstood who in fact cancelled the meetings and who was responsible for creating a draft contract to review. Where in the Ortiz situation, they adamantly rejected the offer and went as far as to state on social media that they are done with Hearn. Correct me if I'm wrong please.
