Those are Bob Arum's plans...are they also Tyson Fury's? I think he is still having mental issues and may just leave with the ESPN money without taking on mega fights in future...maybe just one Wilder fight.
Would be interesting who his Sept. opponent is. It could be one of Breazeale or Ortiz or even Andy so they can hype up a Wilder rematch if he fights the same guys.Comment

Arum has forgotten more about promoting fights and fighters than I’ll ever know. But I’m just not seeing how this thing with Fury is gonna be profitable. Especially when the two biggest fights out there for Tyson are gonna be nightmares to try and make.Comment

I think Fury will be fine. It’s Bob, and more importantly his relationship with ESPN that’s being setup to fail. Because I imagine ESPN is putting up a lot of the money for Fury’s deal. And I just don’t see how they’re gonna get any kinda return on it. Fury can yap and sell all he wants. The average casual fan is gonna think he’s boring in the ring. Fury and AJ are contractually tied to competing networks with huge contracts. And I don’t think AJ-Fury is big enough yet to do a joint promotion and have both sides make a huge amount of money splitting everything 50/50. Wilder is the most flexible of the three. But there’s really no need for him to run over to ESPN for less than a fortune. Especially when it’s ESPN that is gonna need him far more than he needs them.Comment

Once you see Warren on the scene just say good buy to good fights. I think Ricky Hatton fought 40 bums before running away to have competitive fights. Joe Calzaghe never fought anyone with a pulse his whole career because of Warren. Warren is a cancer who only cares about his own pocketsComment
