Comments Thread For: Pacquiao Expects All-Action, Not Ring Rust, From Thurman

Pacquiao, 40, retained his WBA "regular" welterweight crown with a unanimous decision win over four division world champion Adrien Broner in January.

I think Thurman has skill. I soured on him due to his long layoffs, and used the slur “part time” as opposed to “one time”. He struggled against Lopez. But fighting Manny is what I hoped for. I don’t think it will be fireworks. Might take a lot of time for the distance to close, especially if Thurman is in better form than his last fight. I’m leaning towards three different scores by the judges. Aka Nobody really wins.

Thank God for "Ring Rust!" Without that weak performance, Thurman wouldn't be getting the fight! Now that this fight is official, DSG needs a dance partner! Mikey Garcia...MAN UP!

Before the Thurman vs Lopez fight I would have considered this a mismatch. Not anymore.

That's not cool. You know good and well 150k is more than what Bud did last time so TC is improving
