I think smith is in canelos future plans. GBP have mentioned canelos wishes to fight in London. If those sentiments hold any truth, Smith would fit the bill perfectly. He’s the “super” champ and canelo defeated his brother Liam so there’s a natural rivalry. Smith is talented, but I don’t imagine anyone thinking of him as this ridiculous favorite over the already well established canelo.
