Excuse me if I'm wrong but didn't you always criticise Pacquiao before?

Obviously that is a fight that should have been made for Crawford. Looks like Arum's personal attachment to Pacquiao got in way of what was best for business.

        I think youre wrong...

I haven't knocked the guy really since the Floyd stuff(and I wasn't round here then)....ive never really had a beef with pac other than his dumb fans and the fact that bob held up the fight for years....but ive actually seen him fight live twice in the US and in macau against algieri....ive just hated the way his fans have lived in denial about certain things....but ive always enjoyed watching him fight....

what does this have to do with pac though? who was giving pac props or knocking him here? I didn't see anyone doing either

you think he was more worried about his aging, possibly leaving, former superstar? or his up and coming new prized pet?

I'm just taking his word on the fight. Pacquiao carried TR for years and is one of Arum's all time favorites that he has ever promoted. He didn't want his end to be like Ali's, but I think Pacquiao would have done fairly well vs Crawford. That's just simply a missed opportunity and hurt Crawford big time, considering Horn ended up "upsetting" Pacquiao. That should have been Crawford's fight right there.

But good for Pacquiao, gets two solid names back to back.

Because Bob didn't think Crawford was worth investing the $20 mil Pac wanted to fight him.

He wouldn't invest in his own fighter now he's looking to Haymon to invest in his fighter.

If you don't believe your own fighter is worth the investment why do you think someone else is going to invest in him????

oh def good for pac...props to him for taking the fight.....just odd that al seemed to have 0 problems with this ...same for pac....but bob couldn't set up Crawford up nice? odd....im not sure I believe anything bob would have to say on the matter.....his reluctance speaks volumes...he might say he loves manny but what he really loved was the clout he brought to TR.....
