Thurman is such a punch *****. Hasnt fought a real match in over 2 years. Keeps claiming hes the best at 147, better than Crawford and Spence but no he can barely slip by Josito and now hes fighting 40 year old Pacquaio.

Thurman is still trying to keep his 0 and Josito almost took it. He knows if he steps up he will take some Ls and become a gatekeeper. And if he cant make 147 anymore.... yeah he isnt beating the likes of Hurd at 154.

I believe that's the case here too.

Of course they will avoid him, not out of fear, he does not being money to the table. He will have to wait longer, pacman retired by then

I heard Crawford is in need of a dance partner right now

Bes*****g not big enough name for Crawford. But I think he is nr 1 in WBA ranking so soon will become mandatory if not already.

              Lol, good one

You're right but unifications trumps over mandatory. So maybe Bes***** can wait and he may end up fighting Spence later on

Btw, isn't he a Top Rank fighter?

No shame in that though, he's surprised me in his most recent run of fights. Not out of the realm of possibility that he can pull this one off too.
I don't get this. Why shot? How shot? How does shot even come into the conversation. He got tagged and wobbled a bit but still was very evasive. That can happen to anyone who is not supremely elite. Even Maidana tagged Floyd in the first fight. This is boxing this is what happens.

Sure, there was a performance drop off but for Thurman but it wasn't because he was battered in previous fights. The most obvious explanation was due to a long injury induced lay-off. In other words ring rust. Thurman's style depends a lot on timing too as he is pot-shotting on the move. This style should be more affected by a lay-off than say a slugger style.

At this point I'm going all in on Thurman - depending how the odds play out but if Pac comes in as a slight favorite then I'm doubling down on Thurman.

He is TOP Rank fighter. So the only way to get title shot against Thuruman/Pacman is to force WBA to order mandatory defense like they did with Loma Crolla.

One thing to keep an eye on is that this should get rid of another WBA "regular" belt.

If the WBA really intends to phase those out then they shouldn't bring it back after this fight. And if they do then fans and media should loudly let them hear about it.
