The Floyd Manny fight was very close no matter what some people like to think. Even if you scored it 10-2..those rounds were all close. Floyd did just enough in most rounds to win it, but he never made Manny look foolish. Not until rounds 10 or 11 was it clear Floyd was in control.

If Manny beats Thurman, Porter/Spence winner, Crawford in convincing fashion at 40-41...that's better than the Canelo win for me. Especially since Crawford is PFP #1 atm

If Manny unifies at this stage of his career, then their should be no doubt who is/was better.
But the odds of that happening are virtually nil when you counter in actually making these fights before he is really over the hill, the skills will definitely start to fade even quicker at this age plus boxing politics ain't gonna let a 42-43 Yr old to unify the division when the cash cows are all the younger guys.

Funny you should bring up cotto because that was a cw as well. According to you losses and cw’s don’t count when it’s manny but cw wins take away from Floyd’s resume. That is incredibly biased. If Canelo was drained we can argue cotto was as well. Manny beat the weakest versions of odh, morales, Shane, hatton, and margs. 3 of those guys Floyd beat before manny did.

Manny had advantages in all those fights. When you compare Floyd and manny using the same criteria, Floyd always comes out ahead. But you use some crazy biased formula where you give extra points for wins for manny and never count losses or draws and forgive all cw’s.

At 40 why can't Pac just beat thurman, and let thurman fight and beat spence and Pac live off royalties?
