    You casuals are easily fooled.
cotto was coming off a win. and just because you took a loss doesnt mean you're out of your prime. wtf??!!!!

Cotto took a SAVAGE BEATING from Margarito. That isn't an ordinary loss where you can perfectly bounce back from in only a year. Cotto was coming off a controversial win over Clottey, he looked like sht in that fight.

In fact, Freddie Roach kept on boasting about how they were catching cotto "at the right time" and how "Cotto wasn't the same" after Margarito. Sorry but that was not a prime cotto.

nope.. just because he took 1 loss doesnt mean he's out of his prime. if that's the case then when pac got ko'd early in his career, that took away his prime too then.

Pac rebuilt himself, cotto did NOT do so in a year. He was gifted the WBO aka the Top Rank belt and looked like sht against Clottey.

It was only a year later, so this whole he beat a "prime cotto" at his best is just idiotic.

what's more idiotic is how a fighter is out of his prime because he took an L lol. was cotto in his prime? yes. he just couldnt beat manny. even if they fought before cotto vs marg, it'll be the same outcome.

pac was stopped more than once early on... so manny can keep rebuilding after getting ko'd but cotto cant? LOL.

How is a year enough time to properly rebuild? Especially from the type of punishment he took from margarito?

He then looked bad against clottey so.....

                    2) Floyd didn't beat a prime Manny. He waited until he was showing sign of decline and had been KTFO.

                    3) Manny was documented to have been injured prior to the contest and still out landed Floyd. (it's been proven despite compubox)

                    1) Hiding in Asia for a grand chunk of your career and amassing wins vs guys who were moving up in weight while you fought comfortably as a welterweight isn't legit. If Manny has a legit resume, then Floyd having him on his resume means it boosts up Floyd's.

                    2) Pac was in better prime shape than Floyd, he was younger....faced softer competition.....and had no legit wins at welterweight to push him physically to where he was in a rougher condition.

                    3) Pac being injured is an excuse. Its the proof that he didn't have any integrity. He walked from the fight, got raked over the coals financially by Bob Arum and guess what? Now he is of no use to Top Rank and got tossed.

Cotto got beat by Margarito who was more than likely cheating.

Pacman only rates higher than Mayweather in that he's an 8 division champ, which is mental. And his fights are more entertaining. But it's ****** to rank one over the other 'historically', because it totally depends what you like to watch. Both will go down as GOATs in their own ways.
