In fact, Freddie Roach kept on boasting about how they were catching cotto "at the right time" and how "Cotto wasn't the same" after Margarito. Sorry but that was not a prime cotto.

It was only a year later, so this whole he beat a "prime cotto" at his best is just idiotic.

3) Manny was documented to have been injured prior to the contest and still out landed Floyd. (it's been proven despite compubox)
1) Hiding in Asia for a grand chunk of your career and amassing wins vs guys who were moving up in weight while you fought comfortably as a welterweight isn't legit. If Manny has a legit resume, then Floyd having him on his resume means it boosts up Floyd's.
2) Pac was in better prime shape than Floyd, he was younger....faced softer competition.....and had no legit wins at welterweight to push him physically to where he was in a rougher condition.
3) Pac being injured is an excuse. Its the proof that he didn't have any integrity. He walked from the fight, got raked over the coals financially by Bob Arum and guess what? Now he is of no use to Top Rank and got tossed.Last edited by Bravado; 05-24-2019, 06:11 PM.

Pacman only rates higher than Mayweather in that he's an 8 division champ, which is mental. And his fights are more entertaining. But it's ****** to rank one over the other 'historically', because it totally depends what you like to watch. Both will go down as GOATs in their own ways.
