My stream died in the 11th, but I had it 96-93 JRock

Beautiful performance from Williams. The craft he showed on the inside was Sweet. Pleasure to have seen the fight.

And Lubin is another guy getting written off....Definitely a mistake for those that are doing that. He will be champion one day...Probably soon.
I liked Lubin ever since I saw him in the amateurs. Same with Spence for me in that regard - always liked lefties that can box.

Anyway I hope Lubin can get past that KO and become a champion. It looks like his team is bringing him along the right way as well.

I just thought when Hurd brought the heat tonight Williams would fold but he didn't. More power to him. You have to be a dog to go 12 rounds with Hurd like that.

Now that would be a fight I would watch. A good angle there.

Charlo was coming off the Harrison loss at the time the Hurd/Jrock fight was made.

Hurd was coming off shoulder surgery at the end of 2018 so the Charlo fight wasn't possible.

Hurd/Charlo was like that cliche about two ships passing in the night.

I like Mayweather and he was definitely a great boxer...but don't go around saying he faced the best in their primes. That just is not true - certainly not in his 'Money May' days. He made a lot of money that way though so not mad at him there.

I like Williams, but I would have never picked him over Hurd. Wow, has the landscape at 154 changed in 2019.

                    GREAT win for J-Rock.

Lubin is the goods, very skilled offensively but needs to tighten his defense up and just grow into his body. He's a small 154 pounder, but also young. Let him fight four times this year and have the last fight be against a top 10 LMW. Then give him a top level fighter like Castano in early 2020. There is a blueprint at 154 with how JRock was brought back from his TKO loss.
